Job Title: Multi - Purpose Waste / Cleaning Operative

Location: SS14 3AD

Reporting to: Cleaning Supervisor

Hours of work: Mid-Morning Shift ,Monday to Thursday 11.00 to 19.00 and Friday 09.00 to 17.00, totalling 37.5 hours per week.{half hour unpaid lunch break per day}

Flexibility with regards to working hours and duties is essential.
Principle Function
You will be working as part of the Morning / Evening cleaning team/ Waste areas with your role involving the following cleaning schedules, which will mainly be within the manufacturing areas.

Duties will include;

Collect Waste around the manufacturing areas.
Cleaning of floor areas using both manual cleaning and machines.
Other cleaning duties as may be from time to time required.
Break cardboard up to go into the Baler
Dealing with spills/ leaks around the site
Skills, experience and abilities required include;
Able to drive a Tug buggy with trailers of waste.
Ability to pass cleaning machine training.
Ability to learn an awareness of chemicals and the risks associated with their use.
Ability to understand and follow method statements, risk assessments and other work instructions.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
The ability to walk, move, bend and lift as required during the cleaning process.

You will be expected to work within safety rules at all times and report any safety issues or concerns to your line manager.
To respond to Management and Client requests appropriately.
To take appropriate action in the event of finding janitorial issues.
To report any health and safety issues.

Payment: This is an hourly paid role requiring the use of a clocking machine.

£10.10 per hour, paid weekly.
