Helpdesk Receptionist

Front of House Receptionist for Helpdesk

Location: Dagenham

Hours: 8am - 1pm 25 hours per week (part time)

Salary: to be negotiated

We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our client's front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties.

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our client, therefore, a very professional manner and appearance is key.

Responsibilities to include:-
Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office;
Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office;
Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls;
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials;
Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email;
Receive, sort and distribute daily mail and deliveries;
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk;
Ordering of supplies/Mail stationery;
Perform other clerical duties such as filing and photocopying.

Requirements:-
Proven work experience as a Receptionst/Front Office Representative or similar role;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
Hands - on experience with office equipment;
Professional attitude and appearance;
Solid written and verbal communication skills;
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise;
Multi-tasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
